Vocal mixing FAQ: Questions artists ask before booking
How much does a vocal mix cost?
$230 a song during the trial, for the first 3 songs. After the trial, pricing starts at the current rate and each song is quoted.
What do I send?
Your vocal tracks (up to 8), the stereo beat, a reference track and your deadline.
How long does it take?
3 business days after we have usable files, the reference track, the deposit and a confirmed start date.
How many revisions do I get?
One consolidated revision to the agreed mix.
How do I pay?
A 50% deposit is invoiced to start the job. The balance is due before the full-quality files are sent. If you cancel after paying the deposit, it is not refunded.
What do I get back?
A final WAV and MP3.
Do you record new vocals?
Not as part of a vocal mix. Vocal recording is on the waitlist.
Where are you based?
Static City Studios is based in Apollo Beach, Florida. Mixing is done remotely, so artists anywhere can work with Static City Studios.
How many projects do you take?
No more than 2 active jobs at a time.
Can you use my song as an example?
Only with your permission. Before and after clips are always volume-matched, so louder never passes for better.
