Hiring a singer for your hook
In rap and R&B, the hook is usually the chorus: the part that repeats and that people remember. A guest vocal is a sung part on your song by another voice, a hook, a bridge or a full verse.
Hooks and guest vocals are written and sung in-house, and the finished vocal can go straight into a vocal mix with yours.
