How FL Studio vocal presets work

In FL Studio, a vocal preset is usually a mixer track state: a saved file (.fst) that holds a mixer track's settings and the plugin effects in its slots. Load it onto your vocal insert and the whole chain appears, ready to adjust.

Each one will list the FL Studio edition it needs, with demos, before it is sold.

How do I add a vocal preset in FL Studio?

Most FL Studio vocal presets are mixer track states (.fst files). Open one from the mixer track menu, or drag it from the Browser onto your vocal insert, and the chain fills the effect slots.

Why does my vocal sound off-pitch after loading a preset?

The tuning plugin is set to a key. Change it to your song's key and scale.

Will FL Studio presets work in other DAWs?

No. FL Studio mixer track states load only in FL Studio.
